Water Wars Rentals in Dallas-Fort Worth

Two launcher pods, a pile of biodegradable water balloons, and a referee running a head-to-head tournament bracket - delivered and staffed across the DFW metroplex for the loudest fifteen minutes of the summer.

  • Head-to-Head Launcher Pods & Volume Balloon Packs
  • Biodegradable Balloons - Non-Latex Options Available
  • Referee Included - We Run the Bracket, You Run the Sound

Two Cages. One Ref. A Thousand Balloons.

Water Wars is the classic summer showdown: two players strap into head-to-head launcher pods about fifteen feet apart, load biodegradable water balloons into a bungee cradle, and let fly. First to take three direct hits on the chest target rotates out. Next two step up. The bracket runs ninety seconds a match until every kid at your Frisco backyard, Plano church, or McKinney HOA pool deck has taken a turn.

We pull up with two launcher pods, a rolling tub of pre-tied biodegradable balloons, a referee who has run this exact set at a dozen VBS weeks this summer, and a trash path so the field gets handed back clean. You pick the bracket rules. Your guests pick a partner. The neighbors will think somebody turned on a fire hydrant.

Why DFW Youth Pastors, PE Teachers, and HOA Boards Book Water Wars

Head-to-head, not free-for-all

Bungee-launcher pods turn a chaotic balloon toss into an actual bracket with winners, losers, rematches, and a crowd that shows up to cheer instead of wander off.

Biodegradable balloons

Non-toxic, latex-free options available. The attendant picks up scrap between rounds and does a full sweep at teardown so the HOA pool deck or ISD field hands back balloon-free.

Moves a big crowd fast

Ninety-second matches clear a line of thirty kids in 45 minutes. Double the pods and a hundred-guest VBS or corporate summer day finishes in under an hour.

Ref runs the clock

Our attendant calls timing, resets the pods, pre-loads the trays, and keeps the bracket moving so the event host is not standing in the grass holding a whistle.

Built for Texas summer

Peak season runs May through September across Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen, and Prosper. Works at 100°F and drops the vibe of the whole party by ten degrees.

VBS weeks lock early

Frisco and Plano megachurch VBS weekdays book in February and March. Summer Saturdays lock three to four weeks out. Reserve before the calendar fills.

The Water Wars Lineup

One core rig, plus the three upgrades VBS coordinators and PE teachers end up adding once they see how fast a single station moves.

Standard Water Wars Station

Two head-to-head launcher pods, a volume pack of biodegradable water balloons, and a trained referee running 90-second matches. Fits a standard backyard or a church courtyard without blocking the walkway.

Sponge-Ball Variant

Same pod setup swapped to reusable sponge-ball ammo for the seven-to-nine crowd - HOA splash days, elementary field days, and VBS elementary sessions. Softer rebound, zero scrap pickup at teardown.

Double Station Tournament Bracket

Two full Water Wars rigs running side-by-side with printed brackets, a finals seeding, and a champion belt for the winner. Sends a hundred-guest VBS week or corporate summer day through in under an hour.

Water Wars + Splash Combo

Pair the bracket with a bounce-house water slide, a dunk tank, or a foam pit for a full two-to-three-hour splash block at a neighborhood pool deck or school field day.

Double-station availability tightens week-to-week from Memorial Day through Labor Day - if your VBS week or ISD field day has a specific slot, call before the calendar locks.

The Party Engine

Call the Bracket - We Run the Pods

The rig itself rents the same way every time. What separates a great Water Wars set from a flat one is the bracket flow. A straight open queue ends with half the crowd in the pool and nobody watching. Our refs run printed single-elimination brackets for ages ten and up and rolling round-robin rotations for the younger VBS and HOA splash-day sessions - so everybody plays, everybody watches, and the crowd stays for the finals.

What we bring so the only thing you plan is the playlist and the seeding:

  • Two head-to-head launcher pods and anchor stakes
  • Volume balloon pack pre-tied for the session length
  • Sponge-ball swap kit for elementary rotations
  • Trained referee for the full match window
  • COI for your HOA, church, ISD, or park venue on request

We stage the pods on the flattest grass with a clear fifteen-foot sightline between them and run the balloon-fill tub off the nearest hose bib on a taped path. Balloon scrap goes into a rolling bin between matches so the field stays clear the whole set.

Reserve the Bracket

Where Water Wars Earns Its Weekend Slot

The bracket works anywhere there is a hose bib, fifteen feet of flat grass, and a crowd that wants to soak somebody. These are the DFW events it gets rebooked for every summer.

Church VBS & Youth Summer Nights

Frisco and Plano megachurch VBS weeks, plus neighborhood ministry youth nights across McKinney and Prosper - Water Wars after the lesson is the summer-week kickoff ritual.

School End-of-Year Field Days

Frisco ISD, Prosper ISD, Wylie ISD, and Allen ISD elementary and middle-school field days - double-station rigs clear 200 kids across the two-hour block.

HOA Pool Deck & Splash Days

Twin Creeks, Starcreek, Phillips Creek Ranch, Light Farms, and Windsong Ranch summer splash events - pool in the morning, Water Wars bracket in the afternoon.

Tween & Teen Birthday Parties

Ten-through-fourteen-year-old birthdays in Frisco, Plano, and Prosper backyards - the one activity that turns a pool party into a spectator sport.

Corporate Summer & Intern Days

Legacy West and Hall Park intern sendoffs and all-hands culture days - bracket with printed seeding ends with a photo-worthy finale every time.

Day-Camp Finales & Park Events

YMCA and parks-and-rec camp closing-day parties at Frisco Commons, Bethany Lakes Park, Celebration Park, and Bob Woodruff - pavilion bookings clear without power.

Will It Work?

Grass, Hose, Sightline - The 3 Questions We Ask First

Before we send the trailer, we confirm the booth works. Water Wars is simpler than a water slide (no blower, no anchoring to concrete), but the sightline, water source, and drain path still have to line up. Nine out of ten Frisco, Plano, and McKinney setups clear on the call; the tenth we catch before the truck rolls.

20ft × 30ft clear zone 15ft pod-to-pod sightline Flat grass or turf preferred Hose bib within 50ft No power required 36″ gate clearance

HOA pool-deck concrete works with a drain path to the storm grate; park-pavilion bookings at Bob Woodruff, Harbor Park, and Frisco Commons clear without a generator run. Narrow side gates in older Plano and Dallas neighborhoods occasionally kick us to a front-yard walk-through - we scout it on the call so nobody is dragging a launcher pod at 10am on party morning.

Safety & What’s Included

Every Water Wars booking ships with the same standard kit:

  • Two head-to-head launcher pods - bungee-cradle cages with chest targets and anchor stakes.
  • Volume balloon pack - biodegradable, non-toxic, pre-tied and stacked on the ref tray.
  • Sponge-ball swap kit - reusable sponge ammo for elementary and VBS elementary rotations.
  • Trained referee - calls rounds, enforces the no-head-shot rule, runs the bracket.
  • Eyewear rules & rotation spacing - eyewear off, towels staged, queue kept clear.
  • Certificate of insurance - available for HOA, ISD, church, corporate, and city venues.

Water Wars is a targeting game, not a bounce activity - minimum player age is typically seven and up, with the sponge-ball variant recommended for the seven-to-nine bracket.

Frequently Asked Questions About Water Wars Rentals in DFW

When do Water Wars book up in DFW?

Late May through Labor Day is peak. June and July Saturdays go first, usually three to four weeks out, and VBS weeks at Frisco and Plano megachurches lock the weekday slots in February and March. For a Frisco ISD or Prosper ISD end-of-year field day, reserve as soon as the calendar is set - typically six to eight weeks ahead.

How many kids can play at once, and what is the rotation like?

The standard rig seats two players head-to-head with a referee running the round. We rotate groups on roughly 90-second matches so a party of thirty cycles through in about 45 minutes. For HOA splash days and church youth nights we add a second station so twelve to sixteen kids are actively playing every minute instead of waiting in a towel line.

Are water balloons or sponges safer for younger kids?

Both are safe when run by our attendant, but we default to biodegradable water balloons for ages ten and up and swap to sponge-ball ammo for the seven-to-nine crowd at HOA splash days, elementary field days, and VBS elementary sessions. Sponges soak the same, rebound softer, and keep the yard clear of balloon scraps for the closing cleanup.

Which DFW cities and venues do you deliver Water Wars to?

Same-day delivery across Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Wylie, Celina, Rockwall, Rowlett, Royse City, Sachse, Murphy, Parker, Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Garland, and Denton. We regularly stage Water Wars at HOA pool decks in Twin Creeks, Starcreek, Phillips Creek Ranch, Light Farms, and Windsong Ranch, at Frisco and Plano megachurch youth nights, and at Frisco Commons Park, Bethany Lakes Park, and Celebration Park pavilion bookings.

What surface and water setup do you need?

A 20ft by 30ft flat footprint with grass or turf preferred - concrete pool decks work with a drain path. We need a standard hose bib within 50 feet of the station for the balloon-fill tubs and a nearby trash path for spent balloon scraps. No power required for the base station, so park pavilion and open-field bookings at Bob Woodruff or Harbor Park clear without a generator run.

Is a referee included? What does the referee actually do?

Yes, every Water Wars booking ships with a trained attendant - we do not drop and leave. The ref pre-loads balloon trays between matches, calls round timing, enforces the no-head-shot rule, keeps the tournament bracket moving, and runs the closing cleanup sweep so the HOA, ISD, or church venue gets the field back balloon-free.
