Working DJs, not hobbyists
Full-time DFW performers with hundreds of birthdays, receptions, and quinceañeras on the calendar - not a guy with a Spotify playlist and a rented speaker.
A good DJ keeps the dance floor full. A great DJ reads the room in the first twenty minutes, catches the mood shift when grandma finally sits down, stretches the quinceañera court dance by a chorus because the photographer needs it, and drops the exit song at the second the last fork hits the last plate. For nearly twenty years Jumper Bee has been booking the Dallas-Fort Worth DJs who do exactly that.
Every DJ on our roster arrives with a full PA rig, a wireless handheld for toasts, a laptop playout with a hard-wired backup, and a pre-event call on the books so the first-dance song, the father-daughter cue, the grand-march sequence, and the do-not-play list are all confirmed before the truck leaves the yard. One call books the DJ, the MC, the lights, the monogram gobo, and a karaoke add-on if you want one.

Full-time DFW performers with hundreds of birthdays, receptions, and quinceañeras on the calendar - not a guy with a Spotify playlist and a rented speaker.
Two powered speakers, subwoofer over 50 guests, wireless handheld mic, laptop playout plus a hard-wired backup. No “bring-your-own-speaker” surprises.
Quinceañeras, Mexican-Independence-Day corporate, Cinco de Mayo activations - MC-DJs who run the mic in both languages without a handoff.
DJ + MC + lighting + karaoke + photo booth + inflatables + balloons + concessions on a single contract, single deposit, single crew lead on site.
Commercial liability on every performer; Certificates of Insurance naming your HOA, church, school, or corporate venue issued in one business day.
Arrival buffer, sound check built in, and a run-of-show that lines up to the minute with photographers, caterers, and the venue timeline.
A DJ is not one sound. The right set depends on the audience, the language mix, and whether the floor closes at 10 pm or 1 am. The flavors we book most:
Pop, Disney, TikTok dance challenges, and the birthday-song cue - 2-hour standard for the backyard and HOA-clubhouse crowd. Clean-edit only.
Bilingual MC-DJ running the court dance, vals, waltz, surprise dance, Spanish-English floor flip, and the grand entrance - the single biggest Hispanic-market booking we take.
Frisco ISD, Plano ISD, Allen ISD, McKinney ISD, Prosper ISD middle-school and high-school dances. Radio-edit only, principal-approved set list, fog-free lighting.
Cocktail hour, dinner-set background, grand entrance, first dance, father-daughter / mother-son, cake cut, bouquet, garter, last dance. Full MC package standard.
Clean-corporate cocktail to dance-floor transition for Legacy West, The Star, Cypress Waters, and downtown Dallas ballroom bookings.
Host-led karaoke with a rotating sign-up board, wireless handhelds, and a curated 20,000-track library - corporate team nights, HOA socials, church-youth lock-ins.
Custom mash-ups welcome - a megachurch family night that wants contemporary-Christian for the first hour and modern-pop after kids clear is a totally normal request.
The Full Rig
The biggest difference between a working DFW DJ and a guy with a Bluetooth speaker is the rig - sized to the room, wired with a backup, and staged so the cables don’t trip a flower girl. Every standard booking includes:
Outdoor events at Celebration Park in Allen, Frisco Commons, Oak Point Park in Plano, or an HOA pool deck swap in our battery PA kit - 4-6 hours without a wall plug and a clean wireless path back to the mixer. Tell us the venue at quote stage and we right-size the rig.
Four standard booking shapes - scale up or down depending on your headcount and run time:
One performer for a backyard birthday, HOA family night, or small corporate happy hour - 3-hour minimum, extends in 1-hour increments, standard PA included.
Two-performer booking for quinceañeras, larger corporate receptions, and wedding-style events. MC works the floor, DJ stays on the deck - no split-attention mic-to-playout handoffs.
DJ + MC + dance-floor lighting + uplighting + monogram gobo. The standard package for Stonebriar, Legacy Hall, and Las Colinas ballroom bookings.
Pre-party, cocktail-hour, or all-night karaoke run by a dedicated host - stacked on top of any DJ booking or booked solo for youth-group lock-ins and corporate team nights.
Pricing stays generalized on the site because it moves with run time, travel radius, and date - your quote comes back same-day with firm numbers.
Most DFW bookings stack the DJ into a wider entertainment lineup. Common pairings:
DJs scale from a single performer at a Prosper backyard birthday to a DJ-plus-MC-plus-lighting-plus-karaoke lineup for a Stonebriar or Prestonwood winter formal.
Genres Our Roster Runs
Every DJ walks in with a stocked library, but a pre-event call tunes it. Typical set-list flavors we scope for DFW bookings:
Top 40 & Pop Hip-Hop & R&B Country & Line Dance Banda & Norteño Cumbia & Salsa Latin Pop & Reggaeton 80s & 90s 2000s Throwback Disney & Kids Contemporary Christian Wedding Classics Corporate Clean
Send the do-not-play list, the must-play list, and any first-dance or cultural-moment cues at booking - the DJ pre-builds the night around them.
Small upgrades that turn a rental DJ into a produced event:
Four-head DMX moving heads and a wash pack - the standard dance-floor add for quinceañeras, school dances, and corporate after-hours.
Eight to twenty battery LED uplights color-matched to the event theme - HOA clubhouse and church family-life center rooms love these.
Initials or logo projected on a blank wall or dance floor - weddings, corporate brand activations, grand-opening ribbon cuts.
A second performer on the mic so the DJ stays on the deck - the right shape for quinceañeras, bar mitzvahs, and 300+ guest corporate galas.
Wall-plug-free PA for pool-deck HOA events, backyard birthdays, and park-pavilion bookings - 4-6 hour runtime.
50-200 wireless headsets with three-channel DJ mixing - late-night corporate and apartment-rooftop events where a full PA would get noise-complained.
Open-air booth with branded strip, unlimited prints, and an attendant - booked on the same contract as the DJ.
Reduced rate for Make-A-Wish galas, Children’s Medical events, and school-PTA benefits we’ve supported for years.
If you can picture it on the deck, we can probably source it and bundle it into the same contract.
Same-day booking confirmations and rig dispatch throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex:

Spring and fall Saturdays book 4-6 weeks out for birthdays and HOA family nights. Quinceañeras, school dances, and Frisco ISD / Plano ISD prom-adjacent weekends should lock 8-12 weeks ahead. Corporate holiday-party Fridays and Saturdays at Legacy West, The Star, and downtown Dallas hotels close 10-14 weeks out - the MC-plus-DJ pairs fill first. Weekday backyard parties can often book inside 10 days.
Every DJ booking includes the full PA rig - two powered speakers on stands sized to the room, a subwoofer for anything over 50 guests, a wireless handheld mic for toasts and announcements, and a laptop-based playout setup with a hardwired backup. Dance-floor lighting (four-head moving lights, wash, and a haze-free fog on request) is an add-on, not a default - a backyard birthday rarely needs it, a quinceañera always does.
Yes. Every performer on our roster can handle standard MC duties - guest-of-honor introductions, toasts, father-daughter dance, birthday-song cue, cake-cutting, grand march, dollar dance. For quinceañeras and larger corporate events we can send a dedicated MC alongside the DJ so the DJ stays on the deck and the MC works the floor - this is the booking shape most Dallas-Fort Worth quinceañera families and corporate galas end up preferring.
Yes - it’s a core booking. For quinceañeras, Mexican-Independence-Day celebrations, Cinco de Mayo corporate activations, and any DFW event with a mixed-language room, we send a bilingual MC-DJ or a paired DJ-plus-bilingual-MC team. The set list runs banda, norteño, cumbia, regional Mexican, and Latin pop alongside the standard English-language birthday, wedding-reception, and corporate-party catalog - the floor stays full both halves of the night.
Both, always. Every booking includes a pre-event call to capture must-play, do-not-play, first-dance, and cultural-moment songs (hora, dollar dance, last-dance closer, etc.) - plus any radio-edit versus explicit preferences for the room. Live requests during the event go through the MC mic so the DJ can pre-screen for vibe and volume. If the planner says “never play this song,” it never plays.
A standard setup needs a 6×6 ft footprint and two 15-amp outlets on separate circuits. For outdoor events (HOA pool-deck parties, backyard birthdays, Frisco Commons and Celebration Park pavilion bookings) we bring a battery-PA kit that runs 4-6 hours without a wall plug. Dance-floor lighting adds another 6×6 ft of floor space and a third 15-amp circuit when booked. Tell us the venue at quote stage and we right-size the rig.
