Spring and fall Saturdays for backyard birthdays and HOA family nights book 3-5 weeks out. Quinceañera portrait-plus-reception coverage and Frisco ISD / Plano ISD / Allen ISD prom-week photo booths fill 8-12 weeks ahead. Senior-portrait Saturdays at Arbor Hills and Oak Point Park lock 6-8 weeks out in peak April-May and September-October windows. Corporate holiday parties at Legacy West, The Star, and downtown Dallas hotels close 10-14 weeks out - photo-plus-video pairs fill first.

Every photographer arrives with two pro bodies (primary plus a hot-swap backup), a prime for low-light candids, a zoom for coverage, a dedicated flash with a softening diffuser, and a pair of 128 GB cards rotated so nothing lives on one drive. Videographers add a gimbal, a shotgun mic, lav mics for toasts, and on-camera LED. Photo booths ship with the booth, printer, attendant, and a three-hour run-time minimum.

A roaming photographer captures the event - candles, first dance, the surprise hug. A photo booth captures the guests - every guest, with prints they take home the same night. Most DFW quinceañeras and corporate receptions book both: the photographer for the run of show, the booth for the line of friends rotating through props. For a backyard birthday under 40 guests, a single roaming photographer usually does the job.

A sneak-peek gallery of 10-20 color-graded images posts within 48 hours so the host has something to share the next morning. The full edited gallery (typically 300-800 images for a 4-hour event) delivers in 10-14 days via a private online gallery with download and print-release. Highlight reels (60-120 seconds, social-cut) deliver in 7-10 days. Same-day reel turnaround is an add-on for corporate-activation and quinceañera bookings that need a next-morning Instagram post.

You get a personal-use print and social-post release on every booking - print them, frame them, post them to Facebook, Instagram, and the HOA newsletter without asking. Commercial-use rights (paid advertising, third-party resale, stock licensing) are a separate add-on quoted up front. For events with minors, we use a standard parent-signed release that covers our portfolio and your post-event recap - opt-out is honored.

Midday Texas sun is the enemy of good event photos, so we scout for open shade (pavilion overhang, tree line, a shaded side of the inflatable) before the first frame. For 4 pm-6 pm HOA and park bookings we plan the formal-portrait slot for the golden-hour 45 minutes before sunset. Rain plan is set at booking - an indoor backup location, a covered pavilion, or a tent over the photo-booth station. Gear is weather-sealed; we do not shoot into active lightning.
