Real working performers
Not a kit-bag hobbyist - full-time DFW magicians with club sets, corporate tours, and hundreds of DFW birthdays under the belt.
A magician is the performer that pulls every kid into the same half-circle on the living-room floor, then keeps the parents hanging at the edges pretending they’re not watching too. Jumper Bee has been booking magic acts into DFW backyards, HOA family nights in Frisco and Prosper, Prestonwood and Watermark family events, Allen ISD assemblies, and Legacy West corporate receptions for close to two decades.
We book birthday shows for the 5-year-old crowd, strolling close-up for cocktail hour, full stage sets for school and city events, and clean-corporate mentalism for after-hours receptions. One contract, insured talent, DFW-local crew - no group-booking sites and no vendor roulette.
Call 972-429-4545 or book online - spring and fall birthday weekends fill 4-6 weeks out.
Not a kit-bag hobbyist - full-time DFW magicians with club sets, corporate tours, and hundreds of DFW birthdays under the belt.
Every magician carries commercial liability coverage and a clean background check - ready for HOA, school, church, and corporate venues.
Birthday kids, mixed-age HOA crowds, and corporate receptions all want different shows. Our performers pick the right one and pace the room.
Pair a magician with a face painter, balloon twister, inflatables, concessions, and decor on a single booking - no morning-of vendor scramble.
Birthday sets are G-rated; corporate sets are clean-corporate by default. No off-color patter, no stage hypnosis, no audience embarrassment.
Performers arrive 15-20 minutes before show time, set the room, and start on the minute you picked.
Most events book one of these shapes - some stack two (a 30-minute show plus an hour of strolling, for example). Current menu includes:
A tight 30 or 45 minutes written for ages 3-10 - comedy magic, audience helpers, a rabbit-style reveal finale, and a quick balloon round after.
Tableside sleight-of-hand during cocktail hour, HOA mixers, and corporate receptions - coins, cards, rings, borrowed items, small miracles at arm’s length.
35-60 minute mid-room or stage show with a through-line, bigger reveals, and room for 40-400 guests - HOA clubhouses, school MPR rooms, corporate ballrooms.
Adult-audience reading, prediction, and readings-that-aren’t-readings. Works for corporate after-hours, anniversary parties, and grown-up birthdays.
Built for a 45-minute class period - a reading-themed, anti-bullying, or character-ed through-line with a curriculum tie-in sheet for the teacher.
The birthday show plus a twist-a-balloon round for every kid at the end - the single most rebooked backyard package we have.
All performers bring their own props, sound package, and on-site repair kit. Rabbits and live animals are optional and booked per-performer - ask at quote.
The Headliner Act
The single most-booked shape on this page is the 30-minute backyard or living-room birthday show. It’s tuned for a 5- to 8-year-old guest of honor in Frisco, Plano, Prosper, McKinney, or Allen - eight to twenty-five kids, a short sit-down in the shade, and a camera phone in every adult hand. Every booking includes:
Works equally well in a living room, garage, HOA clubhouse at Twin Creeks or Starcreek, Stonebriar family-life center, Frisco Commons pavilion, or any shaded backyard corner. Book the show with inflatables and a face painter and it becomes the three-hour birthday neighbors still talk about months later.
Four standard booking shapes - mix-and-match depending on the event footprint:
One performer for a backyard or living-room birthday - 30- or 45-minute show, optional balloon round, optional rabbit, one hour door-to-door.
A 2-hour roaming block for HOA mixers, church receptions, grand-opening cocktail hours, and corporate after-hours - extends in 30-minute increments.
Single-performer parlor or stage set for school assemblies, HOA family nights, megachurch Trunk-or-Treats, and library summer-reading kickoffs.
Two to four magicians covering a wide HOA festival or a corporate family day - strolling sets inside and a parlor show on the pavilion hour.
Pricing is held generalized on the site because it moves with show length, travel radius, and date - your quote comes back same-day with firm numbers.
Most DFW bookings stack the magician into a wider entertainment lineup. Common pairings:
Performers scale from a single magician at a Prosper backyard birthday to a four-performer lineup for a Stonebriar or Prestonwood fall festival.
Themes Our Magicians Have Already Built
A working performer can wing most classic shows, but a themed event gets a pre-scoped set list sent to you before the day. Recent themes we’ve prepped for DFW bookings:
Harry Potter Wizards Superheroes Princess & Unicorn Pirates & Treasure Science Experiment Dinosaurs Cowboys & Texas Reading-Is-Magic (Assembly) Anti-Bullying (Assembly) Corporate Brand Tie-In
Have a theme that’s not on the list? Send it at booking and the lead performer writes a matching routine two weeks out.
Small upgrades that make a magician booking feel produced instead of improvised:
Live rabbit reveal as the closing moment - handled with a vet-checked, show-raised animal. Birthday kid pets after the photo.
Portable PA and lav mic so a 75-guest HOA family night still hears the punchline over the pavilion breeze.
A trained twister works the post-show line so every kid leaves with a balloon animal - a clean end to a birthday.
A scripted pause in the show where parents get a clean photo of the birthday kid on stage with the performer.
Pre-order props that match the party theme - wands, cauldrons, dino eggs, pirate chests - delivered ready to go.
The birthday kid’s name and age worked into the patter and printed on the reveal - free when you book two weeks out.
Swap the kid set for a 35-minute corporate mentalism set on an adult-only booking - same performer, different room.
Reduced rate for Make-A-Wish, hospital visits, and local-cause events we’ve supported for years.
If you can picture it in the closer, we can probably build it into the booking.
Same-day booking confirmations and performer dispatch throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex:
Travel fees may apply for events outside our standard radius - call 972-429-4545 for a quote.
Backyard birthday weekends book 2-3 weeks ahead in the off-season and 4-6 weeks ahead in the spring and fall birthday peak. HOA family nights at Twin Creeks, Starcreek, Windsong Ranch, and Light Farms, plus megachurch family events and Frisco ISD / Allen ISD school assemblies, should lock the date 6-8 weeks out. Corporate receptions at Legacy West, The Star, and downtown Dallas hotels with a fixed calendar go 8-10 weeks ahead - the headliner close-up talent is a small bench.
Yes - the birthday and family-night shows are written for ages 3-10, with a sweet spot around 5-8. Nothing spooky, no stage hypnosis, no props that scare a toddler. The patter keeps parents laughing without drifting adult, which is why Prestonwood, Stonebriar, and neighborhood church family-life centers rebook the same performers year after year.
Yes. For corporate receptions and after-hours events we send close-up and mentalism specialists who work tableside through cocktail hour, then optionally transition to a 25-35 minute parlor set during the program. The material is clean-corporate by default; we can lightly customize it around your brand, hire date, or a CEO anecdote if you send notes a week out.
Birthday shows run a tight 30 or 45 minutes plus a short balloon or meet-and-greet after. Strolling close-up books in 2-hour blocks and extends in 30-minute increments. Parlor and stage sets run 35-60 minutes. School assemblies are built for a single 45-minute period. HOA festivals usually book a 2- or 3-hour strolling window that overlaps peak crowd.
A birthday show needs a 6×6 ft performance zone and kids seated on the floor or grass in a shallow arc - any living room, HOA clubhouse, or backyard shaded corner works. Strolling close-up needs no space at all; the performer comes to the guests. A parlor or stage set wants a 10×10 ft area with a power outlet and (for larger rooms) a house mic or a Bluetooth PA - we can bring a battery PA on request.
Yes. Every performer is covered under our commercial general liability policy and has passed a background check before working any kid-facing event. We issue Certificates of Insurance naming your HOA, church, school district, city venue, or corporate host as additional insured at no charge - just send the additional-insured line when you book.
Call 972-429-4545 or book online - spring and fall birthday weekends fill 4-6 weeks out, and headliner corporate dates book 8-10 weeks ahead.
