Animals raised for this work
Every goat, pony, and bunny on our trailer has been handled daily since birth. Calm temperament is the selection criterion - not look.
An Animal Fun event puts live animals - goats, sheep, a pony or donkey, rabbits, chickens, the occasional tortoise or llama - at the center of your party, your school fair, or your corporate family day. The kids meet them, feed them, and brush them. Your guests leave with camera rolls full of the moment a four-year-old first touches a baby goat. And you do none of the work.
Jumper Bee has been booking mobile petting zoos and pony rides across the DFW metroplex for nearly two decades. Every lineup is delivered by licensed, background-checked handlers, travels in climate-controlled trailers, and comes with portable fencing, signage, and a handwashing station. You point at the spot in the yard - we do the rest.

Every goat, pony, and bunny on our trailer has been handled daily since birth. Calm temperament is the selection criterion - not look.
Handlers stay in the pen the entire event, run group rotations, and answer every “what’s that one called?” a kid can fire at them.
Portable sinks with soap and paper towels ship standard with every petting zoo - a Texas DSHS recommendation we never skip.
Inflatables, face painters, carnival rides, tables and chairs - booked on the same invoice as your petting zoo.
Fencing up, animals settled, signage staked, handwashing live - before your event window begins.
From a backyard of eight kids in Twin Creeks to a Frisco ISD fall festival, the same crew runs both with appropriate species counts.
A few frames from real DFW bookings - every pen, pony, and pretzel delivered, staged, and handled by our crew.
The Centerpiece
Every Animal Fun booking is anchored by the petting zoo itself: a fenced, signed pen on your lawn or parking lot where kids meet and feed animals under constant handler supervision. It is the single most-photographed hour at any birthday party, school fair, or corporate family day we run.
Pens scale from a 15×15 backyard footprint up to a 30×30 festival build. Every package includes:
Works on grass, concrete, gravel, or taped-off parking lots - indoors allowed for venues with hard-floor clearance. Handlers stay inside the pen the entire rental window, rotate animals for rest, and haul every bit of waste off-site at teardown.
The second-most-requested piece of every Animal Fun booking - walker-led ponies that take one rider at a time, in a safe, supervised loop:
One-handler-per-pony rides for riders under 100 lbs, helmets provided. Roughly 2 rides per minute on a 30×30 loop.
A real pony with a fitted horn and mane glitter - the single biggest screenshot generator at every backyard birthday we’ve ever done.
Stationary mini-horse petting setup - no ride, just brushing and photos. Great for toddler events and indoor church fellowship halls.
Two ponies in rotation for HOA festivals and school fairs - moves a line of 60+ riders through inside a standard 2-hour window.
All ponies are trailer-trained, helmet-fitted, and walker-led - never free-ridden. Riders sign a short waiver at check-in; handlers enforce weight limits.
Past the farmyard lineup we book specialty presenters and rarer species for bigger rooms:
We scale from a single reptile presenter at a backyard eight-year-old’s birthday to a full multi-station “zoo day” for a Frisco megachurch family festival.
Photo Ops Under the (Texas) Sun
The petting zoo delivers the memories - the photo stations capture them. We stage farmhouse-themed backdrops, hay-bale seating, and animal-handler portrait moments designed for parents’ cameras and real-estate-grade social feeds.

Pair it with farm-themed party concessions - kettle corn, mini pretzels, apple slices - and the whole event prints like a magazine spread without you lifting a camera.
Pair the live animals with themed inflatables and you’ve covered every age-group at the party. Current animal-themed inventory typically includes:
Fully themed barn-front bouncer with painted cows, pigs, and chickens on the walls.
A climb-in cow-shaped bouncer - tiny bounce volume, huge photo value for toddlers.
Jungle-themed climb-in bouncer that pairs with a reptile show for a full “safari” corner.
Two-of-every-kind bouncer with slide - a church-event and Sunday-school favorite.
Multi-stage obstacle with elephant tunnels, zebra walls, and a giraffe finish slide.
Inflatable animal-themed carnival-game trio - ring toss, feed-the-cow, egg race.
All units are cleaned and sanitized between events, anchored to manufacturer spec, and staffed by trained attendants when you book the staffing add-on.

A standard mobile petting zoo includes goats, sheep, a miniature donkey or pony, a calf or pig, rabbits, chickens, and a duck or two. Add-ons include llamas, alpacas, tortoises, and seasonal fawns. We match the lineup to your guest count, venue, and weather - a Flower Mound backyard gets a different mix than a 400-guest Frisco school fair.
All ages welcome, infants through adults. Animals are handled daily and selected for calm temperament. Our handlers stay inside the pen at all times, supervise contact with toddlers, and keep feed cups with the crew rather than loose. Pony-ride riders must be under 100 lbs; walker-led routes suit ages 2+.
A petting-zoo pen is roughly 20×20 ft on grass, turf, gravel, or a taped-off parking lot. Pony rides need a 30×30 walking loop or a 60-ft straight lane. We set everything inside portable fencing, put down ground protection where the venue requires it, and haul every bit of waste off-site when we leave.
Our trailers are climate-controlled, and we watch the forecast as closely as you do. Summer bookings shift to shaded tent setups with fans and water breaks every 30 minutes. Above 95°F or below 40°F we may reduce animal count or rotate in shorter rest cycles. If an event truly isn’t safe for animals, we reschedule - never cancel your deposit.
Every petting-zoo booking includes a portable handwashing station with soap and paper towels at the pen exit - a Texas Department of State Health Services recommendation. Handlers wipe surfaces between groups and manage all cleanup. Let us know ahead of time about severe animal allergies so we can adjust the species mix.
